Pitch deck for LuminaDEX secured $1M funding led by Jump Crypto and YBB Capital
Zeko’s team are also building LuminaDEX, a KYC-enabled DEX with near-zero gas fees and solid security. We helped LuminaDEX raise $1M in their seed round. After grasping their brand guidelines, we worked with the CMO to create an on-brand investor pitch deck.

Problem
Unclear problem & solution statement: The main issue Lumina wants to press in this deck is today’s finance is fragmented, but one-liner text doesn’t cut to communicate that problem.
Poor visual communication: With almost no visual hierarchy and dense information, it will be really hard for investors to grasp what is Lumina’s offering to them.
What we did
Before the deck is not consistent, some slide communicates 1 idea in 1 slide, some are 3 ideas in 1 slide. So, before we began to start designing, we make a deal that 1 slide should only communicate 1 idea.
One slide, one idea: With our joint effort, we are able to redesign the problem & solution slide. By visually telling that
CeFi, Centralized Finance,
TradFi, Traditional Finance and
DeFi, Decentralized Finance are separated and LuminaDEX is the unified solution.
Refined visual communication: By applying brand guidelines and our expertise, we were able to make the information more digestible, easy to follow and on brand. We are able achieve it by crafting simplified visuals & cleaner layout for the deck.
Impact
With clearer message and refined visuals, we are able to communicate LuminaDEX's narrative and value which is the AI-powered De-Fi (Decentralized Finance) infrastructure. Since the fundraising is still ongoing, we don’t know the result yet. But, Evan, the CEO is already circulating the deck to a few investors and partners to get their feedback.
